our aim

As a Club our main aim is to create enjoyable environments for kids and young individuals to engage in a mixture of physical activity and nutritional education. Imperative to our method to accomplish this; is providing safe, adequate enjoyable environments for them to improve their physical health, nutritional education, cognitive, social and sports skills. Depending on each individuals learning abilities, we exercise different teaching techniques to try and maximise each students potential; as we understand there are many ways to teach and learn. For those showing signs of early development, we ensure we provide pathways of opportunity for them to showcase their abilities at higher and professional levels.

By regularly attending our sessions, the kids and young people almost instantly begin to feel much fitter, healthier and better about themselves; also to accompany this, is their newly advanced knowledge of healthy and unhealthy foods; how to construct a balanced nutritional diet for themselves, as well as others around who may be interested in the evidently positive lifestyle changes the individual has made. This in effect helps to build up their immune system to fight back and prevent against regular illnesses. As a result of this, the costs of government spending on medicines and treatments for unhealthy youth will inevitably be lowered. Allowing the opportunity for more financial investments to go towards facilities and activities that will keep the youth educationally occupied, whilst creating an exercise filled healthy lifestyle for them.

Through our experience of managing quite a large variety of youth in age and background, it has come to our attention that there are many young people that do not feel as though they belong in a community. Which we noticed as a possible root cause as to why they may struggle when it comes to freely expressing their feelings, thoughts and ideas, especially in London. Eventually leading them down the common road of either being isolated or involving themselves in anti social behavioural crowds; leading them on an anti-productive path for both the individuals and society as a whole. We believe there are many possible reasons issues like this may stem from; such as living conditions at home, lack of financial income, social groups or even as simple as having opportunities to showcase gifts, talents and abilities; an important release every human should be able to indulge in.

Life is full of choices, and we aim to give young people the best options to choose from in life.
So once education is completed, their minds will be inclined to be productive, rather than spending valuable time meaninglessly browsing the internet, social media, hanging around shopping centres, eating fast foods. Almost to the point of being so uncertain that the decision is made for them via the ideas of idleness.
We know from the football sessions we host, ensuring sports and exercises are enjoyable is fundamental to providing many young people with no real aim, or nowhere to go, with a happier clearer outlook on life. Not only do they benefit from the physical health aspects, but they are also opened to a world where they can grow mentally, through regular interaction with other determined youth. They begin to build up better social skills, good manners as well as the development of their self esteem; after just a few sessions they almost become unnoticeable for the right reasons, as we help them to develop their communication skills with others, learn how to comply with rules, share, care and respect others. It’s evident as we continue to mentor, the majority, if not all of the youth show signs of ability to conduct themselves without fear or worry; just the freedom to wear a new cloak of confidence. This is the joy we receive from serving the youth and the community; creating opportunities, decisive mature individuals and lowering their involvement in crime, which in turn makes our communities and areas much more pleasant and safer to abide in. We as adults understand the difficulties that may occur when it comes to decision-making, problem-solving, concentration and awareness along with the stresses of everyday life. In all we try our best to input outlets that will install creative thinking from our participants that will not only favour our younger and older generation, but will increase sustainable health living all round.

All our coaches and staffs are local people, they all are young, so we help them to get experience to lead sporting activities especially football. We also support them to further their knowledge and experience via qualifications, placements and mentorship.

In this sense our club includes all above and supports young people. Our club is one of the clubs that benefits young people in Hackney, Islington and Enfield.
