Coach Serdal Yanmaz (Level 1)
My personal philosophy is to build a fun, motivated and positive environment that encourages players to learn and develop on and off the pitch. As a coach I strive to make my sessions an enjoyable experience that both develop skills, game intelligence and provide positive life long memories.
Work hard, have fun and take care of each other is an important message I send out to my players during every session. I believe there are no secrets to success, just hard work. The two main components to individual success are opportunity and work ethic. To be playing at the highest level of football requires an enormous amount of commitment, time and energy so having fun while playing the game is vital.
My number one concern as a coach is that my players treat each other well, wanting success for each other just as badly as they do for themselves is an essential attitude to have. The most important skills that team sports teach are those related to building and maintaining strong relationships. The first and most important step to putting others first is to empathize, selflessness is not something that comes naturally to anyone it must be taught. Football provides a great platform to help boys/girls to become good men/women. Players will only learn the life lessons that football can teach if they play for a coach who teaches those lessons purposefully, strategically, and openly. This is my style of coaching.
